Korean Alcohol: Somaek

Korean Alcohol: Somaek

Somaek literally translates to a combination of the popular Korean clear liquor soju and maekju (beer). Somaek is a popular Korean beer cocktail and is also often referred to as soju bomb. While the golden ratio for soju to beer is regarded as 3:7, the possibilities are endless as you can play around with the concoctions to your own preferences.
Somaek is also best paired with fried food like SPAM fries, spicy food like tteokbokki or savoury chips and pizza.
