The peels have a tart taste, but they’re enjoyable if you eat them together with the sweet fruit. Please be sure to wash the tangerine peels well before eating it. Here are also more ideas on how to enjoy your tangerines creatively.
Q: What are the black seeds on the surface of the tangerines?
A: The black seeds are from the ground beneath the tangerine trees, as they tend to stick on the tangerines especially after it rains.
Q: I see dark spots on the tangerine peel. Are they damaged?
A: The dark spots are not the result of any damages to the tangerines. They naturally appear sometimes when the weather gets too cold during cultivation, but these spots do not affect their taste and quality.
We pack our Jeju tangerines in a box optimised to reduce damage during the transportation process.
