Pollack Roe Pasta

A flavourful pasta that has a distinctive taste of pollack roe and perilla leaves.

Ingredients Specially Selected by the Chef

- Extra virgin olive oil and shredded Parmesan cheese for a savoury taste
- Perfect harmony of the unique umami taste of pollack roe and the fresh smell of sesame leaves mixed


What You Will Be Getting

Onion, Garlic, Perilla Leaves, Pasta, Pollack Roe Sauce, Parmesan Cheese, Extra Virgin Olive Oil


Cooking Instructions

1. Boil noodles

- Bring 1,400ml of water to a boil in a pot and add in your noodles for 7 minutes
- When boiled, keep 150ml of pasta water and drain the noodles through a sieve

2. Add in other ingredients

- In another pan, heat until there's smoke
- Once smoking, reduce heat to medium-low and add in half the pack of extra virgin olive oil, onion, and garlic, and fry for 2 minutes

3. Make the sauce

- Add in the pollack roe sauce, 150ml of pasta water, boiled noodles, and sesame leaves in a pan and fry for 2 minutes over high heat
- Turn off the heat and add in the remaining half of the extra virgin olive oil and mix

4. Complete

- Place pasta on a plate and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese to finish
