The Real Busan Tteokbokki Kit

Cure your wanderlust and get a taste of authentic Busan-style tteokbokki (Korean spicy rice cake) in the comforts of your home with Omadeng's easy-to-prepare Authentic Busan Tteokbokki Kit. Omadeng uses long rice cakes (garaetteok ?€가?˜떡) that are made with rice instead of flour, which gives it a chewier texture. When paired with Omadeng's famous premium fishcakes and secret spicy tteokbokki sauce, this is sure to create a gastronomic experience that you will not want to miss! 

What's in the Kit?

  • Long Rice Cake (Garaetteok ?€가?˜떡) (120g), Omadeng Fish Cakes (95g), Omadeng Secret Sauce (80g)
  • Each kit can serve between 1-2 pax.

Cooking Instructions

  1. Prepare 200ml of water in a pot.
  2. Add the rice cakes, fish cakes and sauce into the same pot and boil on medium heat.
  3. Stir the ingredients continuously to make sure they do not stick to the pot surface, and boil for around 7 minutes.
  4. Based on your individual preference, you can also add instant ramen noodles, chewy noodles (jjolmyeon 쫄면), hard-boiled eggs, cheese or other toppings to your tteokbokki/topokki.
  5. After cooking, you may cut the rice cakes into smaller pieces for easier consumption.
  6. If you wish, you can also add rice to your remaining tteokbokki sauce and enjoy a bowl of delicious fried rice!

Storage Instructions

Please store product in the freezer (-18 degrees Celsius and below).
